Citrine

Citrine is a variety of quartz that is characterised by its yellow to orange colour. Its colour is due to the presence of trace iron in the crystal structure.

It has a shiny and transparent surface and may occur in the form of crystals or geodes. Its crystals are hexagonal in shape and can be of different sizes. It is often used to make necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
