Dar al Gani is a large meteorite site in the Libyan Sahara, consisting of a limestone plateau approximately 200 km long and 60 km wide. Due to the arid climate and geological conditions, such as the absence of quartz sand, the meteorites are well preserved and easily recognizable on a light surface.

By July 2001, 869 meteorites weighing a total of 687 kg had been found at the site, the largest of which weighed 95 kg. Notable finds include the lunar meteorite Dar al Gani 400, discovered in March 1998, and the Martian meteorite Dar al Gani 476, found in May of the same year.
