The La'gad 002 meteorite is a rare pallasite, discovered in 2004 in the Western Sahara region, specifically in the Saguia el Hamra region, near Al Mahbas. This meteorite, sold under the name "Al Mahbas," has a total mass of larger fragments in the order of several kilograms, while less than 100 grams of undamaged pieces have been found. It is characterized by a dark surface with visible olivine grains. It is composed of approximately 70 % metal and 20 % olivine, supplemented by troilite and schreibersite.

The meteorite database lists only 16.6 grams for La'gad 002, as only a small sample was provided for identification, thus increasing the collector's value. However, the actual total mass of the meteorite found is unknown.
