This Moldavite is crannied. The cracks are about 1 mm wide. An open bubble permeates the entire stone, which is filled with the clay sediment in which the stone lay. It is a beautiful demonstration of the process of disintegration of the Moldavite into small fragments - shards. Moldavite is freestanding.
